We were established in 1957 as a wooden interior fixtures manufacturer. In 2001, after the company was certified for Yamagata prefecture's programme that supported small-to-medium sized companies' innovative enterprises, we moved our factory and started a wooden sash business. We have won a number of prizes including the Yamagata Excellent Design prize from the Governor of Yamagata prefecture. In 2010 we started a business, in cooperation with specialist organisations for forest improvement and for the revival of the forestry industry in Yamagata, to develop products using local timber.
