「青森県内産業振興への貢献と経済の発展に寄与」するため、農林畜産業、水産業、食品加工業、及び工業に関する試験研究機関です。その中の1つ弘前地域研究所、生活技術部はプロダクトデザイン、漆器、木工品等に係る試験研究と技術支援を実施しています。「青森プレゼンツ」においては当部の「津軽地域観光満足度アップ事業」としてプロデュースを実施しています。
Aomori Prefectural Industrial Technology Research Center is a testing and research institute for agriculture, fishery, food processing and manufacturing. It was established to "contribute to the industrial development and economy of the prefecture". Institute of Technology for Hirosaki Region is a branch facility of the center. The technology of living division of the institute covers testing, research and technology support for product design, Japanese lacquerware and woodcraft, among other areas. The facility also produces projects for "Improving tourist satisfaction to Tsugaru region" under the name of "Aomori Presents".
