主に青森県内の県産材を使い、小木工・椅子張り・建具・家具などを制作する事業者を中心に1995年に設立しました。“木工”の啓蒙＝作品の発表や木工体験・ワークショップ、会員の交流、技術の情報交換など、木をコンセプトにした、ヒト・コト・モノの普及と発展に取り組んでいます。
Aomori Prefecture Woodcraft Council is a forum established in 1995 that consists for organizations that mainly use materials produced in Aomori to create woodcraft, upholstery, joinery and/or furniture. The council promotes the interaction of people/matters/items by running woodcraft workshops, member communication, information exchange of woodcraft techniques, and other "woodcraft" evangelist activities.
