津山木工芸品事業協同組合は地域の木材資源を活用し、食器、玩具、家具などの生活に関わる商品の製作、販売を行っています。宮城県北東部の津山町（現在登米市）に位置し、展示販売所は「道の駅」として観光交流拠点となっています。組合設立から約30年となりますが、県産材を主体に、生活者視点のモノづくりをめざし、最近では子供から高齢者までを対象にした幅広い商品開発を行っています。
Tsuyama Mokumoku House produces and sells homeware products including tableware, toys and furniture made from local timber. We are located in Tome-city (ex Tsuyamacho) in the north-east of Miyagi prefecture and our showroom is in a roadside station (motorists' roadside rest station), which also serves as a tourist meeting area. For more than 30 years we have been developing products using locally produced materials that appeal to ordinary people, including to children and the elderly.
