Suzukimai (Suzuki Rice) is the branding project for Hitomebore rice that the Suzukis has grown over six generations in Sendai City, also known as the "the City of Trees." Not using packages by large-scale farming corporations and strengthening the sales system of each farming household, it aims to realize the sixth industrialization (diversification) of agriculture in order to cope with the continuous decline in rice consumption. To find new customers, it sells Suzukimai to Tokyo restaurants and individual customers all over Japan.
