Area Aid Design Project ｜ JDP東北茨城デザインプロモーション JDP Tohoku and Ibaraki Design Promotion

LLP "hoshiimo gakko (dried sweet potato school)" is the mother organization to link Ibaraki prefecture's speciality snack "hoshiimo (jerky-like strips of dried sweet potatos)" with the future to reconsider human life, ecology and the environment outside the earth. The school provides resources to enhance local communication, product development, training, PR of local information and bringing up successors. Moreover, the organization provides opportunities for locals to revisit local resources with a new aspect. The school organizes workshops to discuss what values should be treasured in the region, and how to spread the message.
