JAPAN GOOD DESIGN

Japan Institute of Design Promotion (JDP), the comprehensive design evaluation and promotional organization, will cooperate with an opening commemorative exhibition of a Japanese culture exchange centre, Japan Creative Centre (JCC), in Singapore.
The opening commemorative exhibition JAPAN GOOD DESIGN is intended to introduce the theme of Japan Creative Centre, by showing the products which won the Good Design Awards. The theme is today's Japanese design involving innovation and tradition.
JAPAN GOOD DESIGN promotes abundant lives and industries. Japanese leading-edge design pioneers future livings and life designs based on tradition and culture, and are aimed to appeal not only to Singapore citizens, but to industries, designers and to the media. With rich information source we aim to promote Japan- Singapore cultural and economical exchange further more.

Japan Creative Centre (JCC): Installment of "Japan Centre" as a Japanese culture and information transmission hub to Southeast Asia had been proposed at the president meeting in March 2007, and agreed in November 2007, led to the opening in November 2009. The concepts include exercising presence of Japan, outgoing transmission of sophisticated "Japan" of high quality, and offering creative industries business opportunities.
